That is until Lexcorp began a series of corporate espionage and sabotage tactics, outbidding or undercutting contract after contract, leaving the company teetering on the brink.
The arrival of the exobytes became the last nail in the coffin. The sudden influx of exobytes themselves, reactions to sudden powers, and general panic disrupted multiple experiments in the labs causing chain explosions to rip through the corporate complex. Doc was fatally injured and infused with sorcerous bytes.
